The following information is true statistics - these are not designed to scare you, but to make you aware of the reality of driving.
On average 17 new drivers are KILLED on Britain's roads every single week.
Each year road traffic collisions kill nearly 1.2 million world-wide and injure or disable between 20 - 50 Million.
Globally, more than 40% of all road traffic deaths occur among the under 25 age group.
Road traffic injuries are the second leading cause of death for young people aged 5 to 25 years old.
Every hour of every day someone under the age of 25 dies or is seriously injured in a car (that's 168 people per week).
95% of all road collisions are caused by HUMAN FACTORS.
The death rate for drivers has more than doubled amongst the young in the last four years.
A novice driver is 7 times more likely to have an accident in their first 250 miles of driving than an experienced driver.
