Drugs and Driving - The Consequences

Drugs and Driving

It is an offence to drive whilst unfit through drugs whether illegal, prescribed, and/or otherwise.

Do drugs impair your driving?

Yes! Taking drugs will impair driving skills - it is extremely dangerous and can affect driving in numerous ways. It can cause reduced reaction times, erratic and aggressive behaviour, an inability to concentrate properly, nausea, hallucinations, panic attacks, paranoia, tremors (or 'the shakes') dizziness, and fatigue.

DO NOT drive if you have taken drugs - if prescibed or over-the-counter, consult your doctor and/or the pharmacist.
