Become a Driving Instructor in Luton

ADI Badge

Flyin' Colours are seeking to recruit good people who not only meet the criteria, but possess the right attitude and mind set to want to become the best.

"It is better to recruit someone without the necessary qualifications, but with theright attitude and train them than vice-versa. So many people fall into the trap ofbelieving that a good driving instructor is someone with a driving qualification list as long as their arm. It is about the client, not how well qualified the instructor is!"

No other Driving Instructor Training company can offer you better value for money and few can match our undisputable record of success. You need only listen to the positive comments from some of our students to begin to appreciate these facts and whilst we could up-load many testimonials (as do most companies), it is mere writing on the wall - we prefer for you to speak with these people and see, hear and experience for yourself.

You can indeed become an Approved Driving Instructor with Flyin' Colours and earn a potential £30,000 (OTE) + per year . . . and if you aren't already an Approved Driving Instructor and are thinking of becoming one, we can train you.

The criteria . . .

You must be at least 21 years, have held a full driving licence for at least 3 years, hold not more than 3 live penalty points and believe you possess the right attitude and skills set to become a Driving Instructor.

The process . . .

In order to qualify as an Approved Driving Instructor, you must pass a three-partexamination, each part taken on a separate occasion.

PART ONE: combined Theory and Hazard Perception Test taken at your localTheory Testing Centre.

From the date on which you pass your Part One Theory Test, you have two years in which to qualify - failure to qualify within this time period will mean you must start the process all over again.

PART TWO: a Test of your Driving Ability (similar to the current test for a learner driver) where you will be assessed by a Senior DSA Examiner at a DSA Testing Centre of your choice, prior to which you will undergo an Eyesight Test. You then do 40 hoursin-car practical training in preparation of Part Three and then a further 20 hours in-car practical training, which then entitles you to EARN while you LEARN on aTRAINEE LICENCE.

The DSA have created a Trainee Driving Instructor Licence Scheme, which will give you additional 'on-the-job' practice in preparation for the final exam. Flyin' Colours supports this scheme and once you have your "Trainee Licence", you will EARN money as a Potential Driving Instructor, also known in the industry as a PDI.

PART THREE: a Test of your Instructional Ability where you will be assessed by aSenior DSA Examiner at a DSA Testing Centre of your choice.

One successful completion of ALL parts ONE, TWO and THREE, you will qualify as an Approved Driving Instructor.

JOIN US NOW to help achieve our vision and aim to make our roads a safer place by becoming a NEW GENERATION Driving Instructor, and feel the great sense ofachievement as each of your pupils pass their driving test with Flyin' Colours.
